"The United States of Tara" will not return after 20th June and will be the final episode of the series. The series started off with rave reviews. Through eight weeks "Tara" has been averaging 326,000 viewers in its original Monday telecasts
and 1.9 million viewers when video-on-demand, DVR playback and repeat showings are included. But Variety reports that interest has died down. This third season is only averaging 326,000 viewers on Monday night, down about 30% from last year.
